ME UPDATES:

The Expo for Artist & Musicians was great! (thank you to all involved-
xoxo). I did have another work tragedy (one of my client's partners killed
himself) - so that and the up coming audit of my work - has made the week a
bit hard & sad; but I'm dealing & we are trying to get your client dealing
with it all okay.

1) Women on the Way - needs performers
The festival will be Thursdays-Sundays, January 11-28, 2007 at Dance Mission
in San Francisco.
For more information check out our website: www.ftloose.org

2) Crash Cabaret Casting Call

I'm producing part of a monthly event called "Crash Cabaret: Where
Queers Collide." Check out our website www.crashcabaret.com to see
what we're all about!
The next "Crash Cabaret" is on October 7th at 11:59 pm at the Roxie
Cinema. The theme is "Queertures from the Black Lagoon." I'm
currently casting for three positions. The first is the "Closet
Monster." You will be outside, in the foyer of the Roxie (next to
the box office) and have a standing door frame with a door in front
of you. You will be dressed as some sort of closet monster,
something that lives in the closet; a pile of laundry? Fear and
shame? A high school football player? George Bush? Mothra? The
possibilities are endless. You will be opening the door, trying to
entice people back into the closet.
The other roles are two siren/ghoulish ladytypes to be "tied" to
either side of the Roxie box office (as if it were an island rock or
the stern of a ship) to sing enticing things, attempting to lure
passer-bys to come to the show. the effect should be dreamy and
weird, not at all carnival-barkery. The goal is to compell, not to
confront. I am envisioning the costumes as all white, but am open to
other ideas as well.

The Call time is 11 pm, you are done performing at midnight and are
encouraged to stay and watch the show?
Compensation is either $20 or 4 comps. I realize it's not a lot, but
Crash Cabaret is a growing event that is quickly becoming a local
underground sensation. We are getting very high profile and this
could be a very good publicity opportunity.
Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in this bizarre and
exciting performance opportunity

Harvey Rabbit
